About Gabriella Horvath

Independent Travel Advisor | Former European Tour Guide | Fiji Specialist

I grew up in Budapest, Hungary, in a family that treated travel as a priority rather than an occasional luxury. My first international trip was at age three, followed by several more and those early exposures to other places, languages, and ways of life shaped everything that came after. By the time I finished my BA in Hotel Management and Tourism, I already knew that a desk job was not going to hold my attention for long.

I started my career as a tour guide, first on the Greek islands of Corfu and Crete, then across the broader European continent. Those years taught me things that no classroom covers: how to read a group of travelers and adjust on the fly, which sites genuinely reward the extra effort to reach and which are better admired from a distance, where to eat in a city when you want the real thing rather than the tourist version, and how to turn a logistical hiccup into a story worth telling. That foundation is what separates the itineraries I design today from anything a booking platform can generate.

Several years ago I made the transition from guiding to advising, building Now-or-Never Travel as an independent practice based in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Europe remains my primary area of expertise, a continent I know with the depth that only years of professional guiding can provide. But my experience extends well beyond it. I have traveled extensively through Latin America, with particularly strong knowledge of and connections in Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico, and Colombia. The South Pacific drew me in through Fiji, a country I have visited multiple times and where I hold a Fiji Specialist certification. And destinations like Bhutan, Zambia, Malta, and Easter Island represent the kind of extraordinary, off-the-beaten-path experiences I love designing for clients who are ready for something genuinely different.

Traveling with my three children gave me a perspective on family travel that is impossible to acquire any other way. I know what it takes to keep every generation engaged, comfortable, and genuinely happy on the road, from the logistical realities of traveling with young children to the very different challenge of designing a trip that works for teenagers and grandparents simultaneously. More recently, traveling extensively on my own has added another dimension to that perspective, a deeper attentiveness to place, to culture, and to the quieter moments that group travel sometimes obscures.

I am a member of ASTA and Signature Travel Network, and have been recognized as a Fiji Travel Expert Select advisor by Signature Travel Network. In 2026, I was quoted as a travel industry expert in MADE Journal's feature on the travel trends shaping the year ahead.

What I offer my clients is not a service. It is a partnership built on genuine expertise, firsthand knowledge, and a sincere investment in making your trip extraordinary. I have planned enough travel to know that the difference between a good trip and an unforgettable one almost always comes down to the details, and the details are exactly what I am here for.

I look forward to helping you plan yours.
